Position: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

The Walnut House is a small, in-home multi-age program for children ages 2–5. We’re looking for a warm, dependable ECE to join our team in a casual part-time role (approximately 8-14 hours per week). Scheduling is flexible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:
• Planning creative, child-led learning experiences
• Setting up meaningful provocations and invitations to play
• Creating pedagogical narrations aligned with the BC Early Learning Framework
• Supporting a warm, engaging environment for children ages 2–5

Requirements:
• Valid ECE Certificate in British Columbia
• Will consider ECEA Certificate if you are actively working towards your ECE
